The WORDS technique

A 2 minute journal technique

If you're struggling to find the time to journal then this week's prompt is exactly what you need.

Welcome to The Kaizen Club newsletter.

Each week we'll be sharing one journalling prompt to help you grow.

I recently came across this simple prompt from Ryder Carrol.

If you're not aware of Ryder Carrol, he's the mind behind the bullet journal.

It's a productivity system that uses just a pen and a notebook. You can learn more about it here.

Ryder calls this week's prompt the WORDS technique.

All you do is answer the following:

Win for the day - What's one win from the day

Observed/learning - What did you learn today

Received from others - What did you receive from someone

Did for others - What did you do for someone

Story of the day - What's the story moment of the day

You can check out Ryder's video on the WORDS technique by clicking here.

The WORDS technique is a quick and easy way to fit journalling into your day.

Especially if you're struggling for time.

I've been doing it for the last few days and I'm already finding it easy to keep up with.

It's a simple but powerful way to reflect and learn from your day.

Try it out and let me know how you find it.

Thank you for being a part of The Kaizen Club.

We share 1 journal prompt each week to help you grow step-by-step.

If you liked this, share it with a friend. If you're that friend, sign up to get it weekly.

Stay Thriving,

Shoaib.
