What's One Hard Thing I Can Do Today?

Did you know that trees that grow in good conditions are weaker?

They can't handle changes well.

The wood has more space between each ring. Making it less strong. It's easier for disease and rot to get in.

However, trees that grow with less light have denser, stronger wood.

They're stronger.

Better at resisting disease, rot and fire.

Welcome to The Kaizen Club newsletter.

Each week we'll share one journal prompt to help you grow.

Comfort is a trap.

Like trees growing in good conditions, when you don't build resilience, you crumble under stress.

Life is full of stress.

If you can't deal with it, even small problems can really upset you.

So how can you avoid the comfort trap?

How do you build resilience?

Do hard things.

Build toughness and resilience.

It doesn't need to be big. What's hard depends on the day.

One day it may be doing a workout. Another day it might be smiling.

Each morning ask yourself:

"What's one hard thing I can do today?"

Do it often and you'll start to notice you can deal with life's difficulties.

You can take them in your stride.

You become mentally strong and resilient.

Try doing hard things daily and see how you feel after a week.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you for being part of The Kaizen Club.

We share 1 journal prompt each week to help you grow step-by-step, unlock your potential and shape the life you want.

Until next week.

Stay Thriving,

Shoaib
