Mental Time Travel:

What would you tomorrow want you today to do?

Welcome back to another issue of The Kaizen Club newsletter.

Each week I share one journal prompt to help you grow.

I came across this week's prompt in Colby Kultgen's newsletter 1% better. Check it out for more great tips.

Have you ever had that feeling the morning after the day before. When you've not done what you wanted to do.

You didn't do that work out.

You didn't stick to your diet.

You didn't get that thing done that you were sure you'd get done today.

This question is a great way to use mental time travel to bring that feeling into the present.

To stop the short term drive for a quick dopamine fix. So you stay on track and disciplined.

Try asking this question when you're planning your day:

What would you tomorrow want you today to do?

Use it to increase your motivation for that one thing that will make the day a win.

But you don't necessarily have to journal with this question.

Use it as a filter for making decisions. Before doing anything that's not in alignment with your goals.

Thinking about skipping your workout?

Ask yourself this question and see how your answer makes you feel.

Try it out and let me know if you find it useful.

You can find a template for this week's prompt here.

Thank you for being part of The Kaizen Club.

We share 1 journal prompt each week to help you grow step-by-step, unlock your potential and shape the life you want.

Until next week.

Stay Thriving,

Shoaib
