Mental Time Travel:

A Simple Trick To Give Yourself Better Advice

Regret is poison.

And hindsight is powerful.

But what if there was a way to use of both of these without any of the downside?

This week's prompt will help you do that.

Welcome to The Kaizen Club newsletter.

Each week we'll share one journal prompt to help you grow.

Mental time travel is a technique used by various journalling prompts to help create space between your current thoughts so you can be more objective.

One prompt that uses this technique and I'm finding useful at the moment is the Solomon technique by Alex Hormozi.

I tried this recently and was amazed at what the conversation uncovered.

I think it works because it allows you to give yourself advice that you need by removing subjective emotions that can cloud your judgement.

Try it out for yourself.

Have a conversation with your future self and see what you discover.

Thank you for being part of The Kaizen Club.

We share 1 journal prompt each week to help you grow step-by-step, unlock your potential and shape the life you want.

Until next week.

Stay Thriving,

Shoaib
